It does not support 680x0-based systems, even if they have PowerPC processor upgrades. Minimum memory is 16MB of DRAM, with a minimum of 24MB of virtual memory. AppleShare IP 6.0 is not compatible with Mac OS 8.5, although it may run in certain circumstances. AppleShare IP 6.1 should be available concurrently with Mac OS 8.5's release or shortly afterwards. Windows networking is not supported on PC Compatibility cards, and Mac OS 8.5 is incompatible with "some older ultrawide SCSI cards." A CD-ROM is required for installation unless you install from a file server. |
