Brief Description:
Cyrillic II for Mac

Professional-quality, hinted, scalable, bilingual Cyrillic-English Type 1 and TrueType« fonts. Cyrillic II includes Cyrillic and English characters and upper and lowercase stress accents to go over any character. Cyrillic II for Windows supports 14 Cyrillic alphabet languages: Avar, Belarus, Bulgarian, Chechen, Evenki, Kabardian, Lak, Lezgin, Macedonian, Moksha, Mordvin, Russian, Serbian, and Ukrainian. Cyrillic II for Macintosh supports those 14 languages plus Komi, Moldavian, and Udmurt. The fonts are available in seven typestyles: Times-, Helvetica- (Arial-), Palatino-, Garamond-, Courier-, Chancery-, and Optina-styles, in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles (except Chancery and Optina are in plain only). Optina is styled after the inscriptions on the icons created at the Optina monastery in Russia.

Cyrillic II comes with five optional keyboard layouts: Russian, AATSEEL transliterated (phonetic), Ukrainian, Serbian, and Bulgarian.

Cyrillic II fonts and the CrossPlatform Converter for Macintosh will allow any Macintosh user to transfer Cyrillic files (text-only and Rich Text Format) to or from a Russian Windows (code page 1251) or Russian DOS (code page 866) platform. It also allows easy transfer of files between the Mac and any verson of Windows using a code page 1251 or 866 font, such as the Cyrillic II for Windows fonts.

Supporting languages: Chechen, Ukrainian, Avar, Belarus, Bulgarian, Kabardian, Komi, Lak, Lezgin, Macedonian, Moksha, Moldavian, Mordvin, Nga-Soâ, Serbian, Udmurt
