collection of newsreel footage depicting the Warsaw ghetto during the
Nazi occupation of Poland. From its inception to its fiery demolition
in 1943, this film documents the lives of the over 500,000 Jews who
were crowded into the one-square-mile area that was the Warsaw Ghetto,
put to work by the Third Reich in Nazi factories, and given only
fractions of the rations allotted to "Aryan" Germans and Poles. |
