After Paying Guest (1957), this is the best known Dev Anand - Nutan vehicle. Two feuding millionares, Set Karamchand (Chattopadyaya)and Lala Jagannath (Prakash) want to build their house in front of each other. Jagannath's son architect Rakesh Kumar (Dev Anand ) is comissioned to consttruct both houses. In addition he falls in love with Karamchand's daughter Sulekha (Nutan). A frothy musical comedy with some classic hits such as 'Dil Ka Bhanvar Kare Pukar' & 'Yeh tanhai Hai' etc.
