A comedy about two second-rate actors who are trying to make it in the cinema and theater in Paris. Nicolas is 45; he doesn't lack work, but the roles he gets are invariably bottom-drawer. So he continues to dream about stardom as he accepts anything that pays the bills--commercials, even dubbing parrots' voices in cartoons. His friend Clement, faced with similar frustration, ends up giving up acting and taking an executive job. Directed by Yves Robert and starring Marcello Mastroianni and Francoise Fabian.
