Australian director Gillian Armstrong's film about the multilayered relations between men and women in a rambunctious, crowded Sydney flat. A young woman (Kerry Fox), recovering from an unplanned pregnancy and a failed relationship, moves in with her sister (Lisa Harrow), a gifted novelist, who is trying to salvage her relationship with her French husband (Bruno Ganz).
