| About the author: Eva Szabo is a language training specialist at the U.S. Department of State, Foreign Service Institute in Washington, D.C. She earned a master’s degree in teaching English and Russian as second languages in Debrechen, Hungary. Szabo also works as a translator/interpreter on a freelance basis. She currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
