Jet Li plays a member of a touring martial arts team stranded in San Francisco when he tries to stop his teammate (C.L. Tu) from defecting. His friend ends up working for organized crime gangs, though, and Li is drawn toward an ultimate confrontation with his former pal. Nice locations and well-staged action with great stunts by Li. Mandarin with English subtitles (occasionally cropped at edges).
