Fonts include the characters for Arabic and Farsi. Follows the Arabic Windows and Arabic Macintosh keyboard arrangements. Excellent for use in label-making, sign-making, video-captioning, for business cards, and for other situations where short passages of Arabic are needed, but without the need for and expense of a computer dedicated to Arabic Windows and Arabic-localized applications. Input is left-to-right (reverse order) for compatibility with US Windows. Does not contextualize letter forms, but Keyboard Switcher Windows utility normally types the medial forms and provides simple, intuitive access to initial, final, and isolated forms of every character.

Users needing to type correspondence- or paragraph-size portions of Arabic should consider Arabic Windows and localized applications such as Arabic Word (Microsoft Word with Arabic Language Support). Note that Arabic Windows does not cover Farsi.
