| Brief Description: | Hum is the story of a family which lives near the docks and makes a square meal. Life was tough and survival was the of the fittest. The depression made it more so. Gloom and despair writ large over the faces of these people. It was difficult to give education to the children, when nobody knew where the next meal was coming from. There was exploitation of the weaker by the strong and they governed set rules. In these tragic circumstances a family of three brothers (Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikant, Govinda) became victims of destruction when they lost their own parents. They decide to leave the world of unhappiness and settle far away from the violence . Till one day fate took an ugly turn and lands them right back in the mess. This is the families fight against injustice to over come their troubles. |
