| Brief Description: | The Institute for Language and speech processing has the pleasure to announce that the last version of the well-known programme for the teaching of modern Greek "Logomathia", is now available to the public with the name "Logomathia+".
"Logomathia+" is divided into 12 sections which now cover all modern Greek language phenomena and provide related exercise material covering three CD-ROMs. The communication of the student with the programme has been significantly improved through the use of graphics which are easy to understand, through spoken directions, as well as through the wide variety of presentation in the teaching material and the ergonomy of the exercises.
The role of the "prizes" has been greatly enhanced with the incorporation of new categories (Argonaut expedition, children's choir songs, traditional musical instruments of Greece), the improvement of already existing ones and the insertion of enjoyable and educational games.
The whole team - linguists, computer engineers, teachers, psychologists and artists-that has worked on the creation of "Logomathia+" for the past five years, believes that this just released version will be the most trustworthy and necessary tool in the effort of students to master the wealth of the modern Greek language and improve the quality of our linguistic communication. |
