This is the age of love story against a background of conflict. Barsaat is a story of two men in agirl's (Twinkle Khanna) life. The other wants to kill her. It is the story of a boy (Bobby Deol) from the jungle who falls in love with a girl from the big bad city. The girl is heiress and her step Father (Raj Babbar) is waiting for her to turn 18, so he can inherit her wealth. He tries to coax , cajole and coerce the boy out of her life to no avvail. Finally he takes the help of a corrupt inspector (Danny Denzongpa) to eliminate the boy. Will the inspector succeed?
