| Brief Description: | In a village in the Thirunelvelli Dist. (TN) young lovers overcome barriers placed on them by tradition and religioin to be with each other. Shekar (arvind Swamy) a hindu and Shaila Bhano (Manisha) a Muslim girl fall in love at first sight. When both their families object to their getting married Shekar and Shaila Bhano elope and move to Bombay.
