Brief Description:

Bookchips are compact digital memory cards that can hold five, 10, 15 hours of spoken audio or more. A single Bookchip - not much larger than a postage stamp - can hold entire audiobooks that would traditionally require a half-dozen to a dozen compact discs or cassettes.

One way to listen to Bookchips is through the ultra-portable Audiofy Player - it's inexpensive and weighs only ounces. But Bookchips also work on many desktop computers, laptops, handheld PDAs and mobile Smartphones with SD memory card slots, such as the PalmOne Zire 31.

Along with the Audiofy Player, Bookchips can currently be played on desktop computers and laptops that use the Microsoft Windows operating system (98/2000/XP), along with Windows Mobile handheld PDAs and Smartphones (Pocket PC 2003 and above).

Bookchips move seamlessly from device to device, remembering your listening position each time. With Bookchips, it's easy to pick up from where you left off the day before, or skip to any chapter you like. Audiofy's software contains a sophisticated set of features, including bookmarking and audio-based navigation.

Bookchips are completely electronic, and can be played by devices without any spinning or moving parts - which means Bookchips never skip!
