Checkout Explained

You've found a product that you want to order, but you've never ordered anything over the Internet and are nervous about the process.

We understand. But you don't need to worry, thanks to the ordering process we've designed for WorldLanguage customers. By combining the latest in security features with an easy-to-follow procedure, you'll know that any information you send us is as safe as possible. And by running you through the ordering process, you'll see how safe and easy it can be to order merchandise from WorldLanguage.com.

The ordering process is clear:

1) Find the product you want
2) Place the product in your Shopping Cart
3) Checkout of WorldLanguage and pay for the product

Let's run through an example to show how the shopping process works. For example: a loved one wants to learn Japanese, so you want to purchase a Japanese learning CD as a gift. After using the handy WorldLanguage Search and Navigation tools for finding Japanese learning products, you decide to purchase the Pimsleur Basic Japanese Audio CD. (In the vast majority of cases we'll have the product in stock. If we don't, we'll tell you when we expect to have the product in stock. If you decide to order a back-ordered product, we don't actually charge your credit card until we're ready to ship the product.) On every product page there's an Add to Cart button, which you can use to purchase the product.

After clicking on "Add to Cart", you're then taken to a shopping cart page. WorldLanguage uses a shopping cart to keep track of your purchases. When you click on the Add to Cart button, you're placing an item onto your shopping list. You haven't yet purchased the item; all you've done is put the item aside for an eventual purchase. While an item is in your shopping cart, you can still decide that you don't want to buy it. Even if you leave WorldLanguage and do other Internet browsing, the selected item remains in your shopping cart until you purchase it or remove it. There's a remove button next to every item in your shopping cart, and if you click on this remove button the product will be removed from your shopping cart.

Once an item is in your shopping cart, you can go back to WorldLanguage and do some more shopping. As you shop, you'll see that the Shopping Cart area on the top right of your screen contains the items in your shopping cart. You can always reset the shopping list -- which removes all the items from the shopping cart -- or check out.

Checking out of WorldLanguage and purchasing your products seems like an involved process, but it's really not. When you're ready, go ahead and click the Checkout link on the Shopping Cart area. This takes you back to your shopping list, and from there you can easily follow the directions and check out of WorldLanguage.
